Industry Players
Everyone uses energy; some are high users, while others have modest needs. Energy is provided by being imported, mined, extracted or transformed and delivered. Users, in turn, transform it into useful work or products. Manufacturers and suppliers, consultants, contractors, investors and insurers, educators, and researchers support all this while government policies and regulations govern the conduct of these activities. All these organizations can be said to be players in the energy industry.
To make this section easier for you to use, the players have been grouped into categories. Below is a brief description of each of these categories.
